Federal, state and local government prime contracting, subcontracting and teaming are no exception. In fact, most government contracting opportunities and research is now available online and easily accessible. The key is to know the proper techniques and to have access to all of the information.

You must have access to as much information as possible, and then have the ability to quickly sort and narrow to find the nuggets you require. It’s like mining for gold.

The Defense Logistics Agency has a website  called DIBBS, (the Defense Industry Bid Board), https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil. DIBBS is a site, managed by DLA which mainly lists quotes for parts and products the military wishes to purchase.
